Some soaps are planned. This one was requested.
Kimberly — named for a friend with excellent taste — started as an experiment in wine soap. At the time, a new beer soap was on the drawing board, but Kim is decidedly more of a wine woman. So the recipe was reworked in her honor: a wine reduction swapped in, a sophisticated scent chosen to match, and a bar that turned out to be one of the most visually stunning in the Sudzy Mama line.
No color was added. None was needed. The wine did all the work.
On the cut sides of each bar, the wine reduction blooms into a beautiful natural rose hue — warm, soft, and completely unexpected. The outer edges of the loaf cure to a creamy ivory. The contrast is striking without trying to be. Much like the woman it's named for.
The scent is equally refined: earthy geranium and warm sandalwood — a pairing that's grounded and feminine, with just enough depth to linger.
- 🌹 Scent: Geranium & sandalwood — earthy, warm, and quietly sophisticated
- 🍷 Secret ingredient: Wine reduction, which gives each bar its natural rose hue — no dye, no mica
- 🧼 Base: Beef tallow, coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil, rice bran oil, sunflower oil, castor oil
- 🤍 No added color — the blush comes entirely from the wine
Pour yourself a glass. Lather up. You've earned it.
