Some soaps are made in an afternoon. Mama's Margarita took almost a year.
From nearly the beginning of her soapmaking journey, this was the bar Sudzy Mama wanted to make. She just had to learn enough to pull it off. And when all the pieces finally came together, the result was worth every bit of the wait.
The base of the bar is clear soap — shaped like a cup, transparent from the bottom and sides so you can see straight through it, just like a real glass. The “cup” is filled with vibrant lime green, margarita-scented soap, with small clear “ice cubes” floating in the drink. The rim is finished with a sprinkle of salt. And perched right on the edge: a hand-crafted lime wedge garnish, shaped from decorative soap.
It smells like a freshly poured margarita — bright, citrusy lime with that unmistakable cocktail-hour energy. And it’s built on the same skin-loving tallow formula as every Sudzy Mama bar, so it lathers beautifully and leaves skin feeling soft and clean.
After everything it takes to make one of these, Sudzy Mama is ready for a real margarita. 🍹
What makes it special:
- 🥃 Clear soap “cup” — transparent base and sides, just like a real glass
- 🟢 Lime green margarita fill — bright, citrusy, and scented to match
- 🧣 Clear “ice cube” accents — floating right in the drink
- 🧂 Salted rim — because details matter
- 🍋 Lime wedge garnish — a hand-crafted decorative soap, perched on the edge
- 🥩 Beef tallow & lard — a hard, long-lasting bar with a creamy lather
- 🌿 Almond, rice bran, sunflower, castor & olive oils — skin-loving oils that cleanse without stripping
How to use: Lather between hands or with a washcloth and apply to skin. Rinse thoroughly. Store on a draining soap dish between uses — and maybe display it for a while first, because it’s too pretty to rush.
Almost too good to use. Almost.
Ingredients: Beef tallow, water, coconut oil, lard, sodium hydroxide, almond oil, rice bran oil, sunflower oil, castor oil, olive oil, fragrance oil, mica for color
