Monster's Mocha

Every mama has a Monster. This one is 16, taller than both of his brothers, and still somehow her little guy.

When Monster decided he wanted a coffee soap of his own, he landed on mocha — rich, dark, and a little more complex than a straight cup of black. Sudzy Mama was already working on it in the fall, with Halloween on her mind, when a glow-in-the-dark mica she’d picked up on a whim changed everything.

The result is Monster's Mocha: a dramatic swirl of white, deep black, and purple — moody, bold, and unmistakably his. And then you turn off the lights. The swirl glows neon blue.

It’s also one of the most functional bars in the lineup. Activated charcoal — the ingredient behind that deep black swirl — is well known for its ability to draw out impurities and give skin a deep, thorough cleanse. Paired with the rich mocha fragrance and our classic tallow formula, it’s a bar that works as hard as it looks cool.

How to use: Lather between hands or with a washcloth and apply to skin. Rinse thoroughly. Store on a draining soap dish between uses — or toss it in a mesh soap saver bag for an extra-lathery experience. And yes, you should absolutely turn off the bathroom light at least once.
